I got the bean plant at the farm. I planted it by getting dirt and then I
made a hole, and then I put a seed in the hole. I covered it up with dirt
and then I watered it a little bit. Then I brought it home and put it on the
shelf. I forgot about it. Then I looked at it and it was bigger!
I was getting my picture taken with the bean plant.
I'm going to put the bean plant in a bigger pot. I'm patting the dirt down.
These are the roots, how the plants drink.
We are watering my plant. I hope it will grow bigger.

My bean plant has little leaves sprouting. It has three little leaves
that already sprouted. We have a stick in there because the bean plant
is heavy. It has one GIANT leaf. There's more big leaves. Can you see
them on my bean plant? |

It grew a bean! Do you see the green bean on my bean plant? It's there
beside the leaves! I might eat the green bean! |

I picked the bean off my bean plant. Mommy cooked it. And then she
cut it. Faith got one half and I got the other. Then I ate it! It tasted
good! Faith liked it too. |
